Pichwai or Pichvai is a style of art that originated 400 years ago which depicts Lord Krishna’s lifestyle. Pichwai is a Sanskrit work where “Pich” stands back “Wai” stands for hanging. They are originated from the Nathdwara temple. Pichwais essentially depict the Lord in various ‘leelas’ with the moon, lotus blooms, peacocks, parrots, or cows; and are set in the lush vegetation the artists find aplenty in their surroundings.
Here I created the cow in Pichwai style on a wooden log as a fridge magnet.
