Short Background: I was born and brought up in Tiruchirappalli, South India. I studied engineering in electronics and communication. I migrated to the United Kingdom in 2005 when I got married.
I am passionate about art. The drawing was my favourite subject at school. The journey continued into glass paintings a few years ago. Recently I pencil sketched a modern Vinayagar mixing Madhubani and zen doodle.
Inspired by Senthil anna’s / Somasundaram Uncle’s Tanjore Paintings, I really wanted to try it. Luckily I could join the Online Tanjore Painting course led by Senthil anna.
The course is very structured right from sourcing the traditional materials to finishing in the frame, explaining every step in great detail. It is amazing to know that the artists came up with these unique techniques in the 17th century. It greatly motivates to be a part of the online group and is a fantastic learning curve.
