I was born in Trichy. I completed my schooling and college in Trichy. I have done Bachelors in Industrial Electronics. I am a proud mother of two kids, a son (International Scrabble Player) and a daughter. Once my kids grew up, I started paper quilling as a hobby. Then I started selling my products. I have an online shop. I am a fast learner. So I keep learning new skills. I love travelling. I have my own YouTube channel called “Veedhi Ulaa” through which I teach yoga, art and craft.
I am a self-taught person. I learnt quilling on my own. I am now a quilling artist. I tried my hands on Silk Thread Jewelry, Polymer Clay and Resin. Now I am learning to draw portraits, pencil/colour pencil shading. I have learnt the basic Kalamkari, Madhubani, Warli, Mandala / Dot Mandala, Cheriyal arts till now. I have a lot of interest in learning all the other Indian folk arts, especially Tanjore Painting and Kerala Mural art. I hope and wish someday soon in future I am able to create beautiful arts.
