Raghavendra Swami, also known as Sri Raghavendra Theertha, is a highly revered saint in Hinduism, particularly within the Madhva tradition. He was a scholar, philosopher, and saint who lived during the 17th century in South India. Raghavendra Swami is considered to be an incarnation of Bhakta Prahalada, a devotee of Lord Vishnu.Raghavendra Swami was born as Venkatanatha in 1595 in the village of Bhuvanagiri, present-day Tamil Nadu, India. After his initiation, he was given the name Raghavendra Theertha.
