Recipient of The Great Indian Women Award 2021 and Saraswatibai DadaSaheb Phalke International Iconic Award, 2021 for her contributions to Madhubani paintings and teaching to under-privileged women and girls.
Neha has a MBA (Finance), M.Sc. in Textile Designing and Bachelors of Education. Very successful artist, teacher, social activist and entrepreneur. Actively involved in teaching Madhubani, Warli painting and Music.
As a head of large Fashion Institute, she successfully expanded and grew the institute both in terms of capability and capacity, grew student intake from 5 to approx. 400 students in less than a year. Winning Lion’s club award for Textile Designing and Institute was ranked as top two, best Fashion and Textile institute.
She has also won several awards for Dress designing and Jewellery and in Music.
Neha is soft spoken, kind, hardworking and a passionate art lover. She says, “art has given her a lot since childhood, taken her around the world, helped meet so many great people, has given her recognition and it’s my turn to give something back”
Neha joins International Indian Folk Gallery as part of the core team to help promote Indian Folk Art and support hundreds of artists, who are part of the community.
