Deepa Kannan, a talented and versatile artist,  is a prolific exponent of various genres of paintings.

Her clear strokes and use of vibrant colors are characteristic of her distinctive style. She experiments with diverse themes and media, improvising, to create varied art forms.

She specialises in Tanjore paintings, depicting divine forms of Hindu Gods.

Tanjavur Paintings are classical paintings from Tamil Nadu, treasured as antiques.

This traditional, grand form of art is characterised by rich and vivid colors.

Embossing is done using gold foils overlaid on delicate but extensive gesso work and inlay of precious and semi-precious gems. It is an art that requires skill, and dexterity.

These paintings accentuate the aesthetics of the decor and create a culturally rich ambience, at your home or at your office.

Deepa’s works in this genre are characterised by elaborate and meticulous detailing and aesthetic use of colours.

Having done about 500 works of art till date, Deepa owns an art gallery and runs an art academy (Creative Art academy )  in Chennai.
