Hello, my name is Leena Phuria and I am from Bangalore. I was born and raised in Maharashtra (India). I studied interior design and worked in Bombay for several years. I studied fine arts at Maharashtra’s Kalawishwa College of Fine Arts. After college, I began my artistic journey by teaching drawing in Bangalore and learning about various Indian art forms. I had two solo exhibitions at Chitrakala Parishad in Bangalore since then. Introducing my paintings to the outer world was a fantastic experience. Different individuals and their opinions on paintings inspire me to demonstrate my painting abilities. I started taking orders for painting, nameplates, murals, corporate gifts, and other services. I didn’t confine myself to mastering any one art form, exploring every art form there is to explore. International Indian folk art gave me a platform to present my art and paintings to the rest of the globe, which has helped me continue my artistic path. It’s entertaining to discuss my continuous artistic journey. Painting and art have a particular place in my heart. It’s how I see myself expressing myself, and it helps me learn more about myself
