Maa Durga is the supreme shakti worshipped with utmost devotion in the Hindu religion.
Madhubani art, also known as Mithila art, is an ancient folk art from the region of Bihar and Mithila (Nepal) and dates back to the Ramayana period. Madhubani paintings are two-dimensional, represented with double lines, mostly with a border design, and filled with bright colours and contrasts or patterns. In the olden days, the mud walls were painted with natural dyes and colours. The art form has now evolved over time with artists painting on canvas boards using a variety of colour mediums.
