2024 Young Indian Folk Artist

International Indian Folk Art Gallery, Australia invites applications for the selection of 2024 Young Indian Folk Artist, for world’s best young Indian folk artist for the year 2024

2024 Young Indian Folk Artist, is an International Indian Folk Art competition and Online exhibition for all budding Indian Folk Artists, presented by International Indian Folk Art Gallery Australia. The competition is open to all citizens of the world.

Indian Folk Artist will be competing in any of the below five Indian Folk Art Categories, these includes folk arts from the five regions of India, such as North, East, South, West and Central region. Please see list of suggested Indian Folk Arts in the below section

IIFAG is inviting children’s of the world to participate in the five categories of Indian Folk Arts.

One winner will be selected from each of these five categories. Further, the highest ranking artist in the competition from each category will be awarded “2024 Young Indian Folk Artist Of The Year”. Winners will be chosen from each category, and each will receive a cash prize along with a certificate of recognition. All shortlisted young artists will also be invited to showcase their artwork at our featured exhibition.

INDIAN FOLK ART CATEGORIES

  1. Indian Folk Art – Southern region
  2. Indian Folk Art – Northern region
  3. Indian Folk Art – Central region
  4. Indian Folk Art – Eastern region
  5. Indian Folk Art – Western region

ARTIST AGE GROUPS

  1. Group A: Children’s group: Age between 9 and 12
  2. Group B: Children’s group: Age between 13 and 16

Enrolment for 2024 Young Indian Folk Artist, International Indian Folk Art competition will be open from 15th September to 21st October 2024. Winners will be announced on 30th October and Awards presented on 14th Nov 2024
